Autobiography of Mohammad Ibrahim – Founder of Gombe Elite S

Early Life and Education

My name is Mohammad Ibrahim, born in 1995, and I have always had a deep passion for learning and education. I grew up in the peaceful community of Jauro Jatau, located in Gombe State, where I laid the foundation for my educational journey. My academic career began at Wuro Biriji Primary School from 2002 to 2008, where I first realized the power of knowledge. I then moved on to Government Day Junior Secondary School Wuro Biriji from 2009 to 2011, followed by Science Intensive School from 2012 to 2014, where I cultivated a more serious approach to academics.

In 2015, I continued my studies at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Gombe, where I spent three years, graduating in 2018. This was a transformative period, as I not only received the academic grounding necessary to become an educator, but I also developed a profound understanding of the responsibilities that come with shaping young minds.

Early Career

Upon graduation, I entered the workforce as a classroom teacher. My first role was at Science Intensive School, where I taught from 2018 to 2019. This experience deepened my love for teaching and reinforced my belief in the importance of providing high-quality education to children.

In 2019, I moved to Gombe Academy, where I spent the next five years contributing to the educational development of young students. My role at Gombe Academy helped me sharpen my skills in educational management, and it was during this time that I began to refine my vision of what education could and should be for future generations.

Founding Zeema College

In 2023, after gaining valuable experience in teaching and school management, I made the bold decision to establish Zeema College, a nursery and primary school in Gombe. It was an exciting venture that allowed me to put my vision into practice, creating an environment where children could excel academically and grow morally.

However, after a deep reflection on my personal and professional goals, I decided in 2024 to dissolve my partnership with my co-founder at Zeema College. This was a mutual decision made with respect and understanding, aimed at ensuring both parties could pursue their respective educational dreams. I transferred the ownership and operational responsibilities of Zeema College to my partner, Ibrahim Rabi′u, and made the decision to focus on a new educational endeavor.

The Birth of Gombe Elite Schools

The decision to transition away from Zeema College marked the beginning of a new chapter in my career. In 2024, I founded Gombe Elite Schools, a nursery and primary institution located in the serene environment of Akko Local Government Area, Gombe State. With Gombe Elite Schools, my mission was clear: to create a school where young learners could not only excel academically but also grow into well-rounded individuals who are equipped to face the challenges of the future.

Under my leadership, Gombe Elite Schools has quickly become a beacon of educational excellence, blending modern teaching techniques with traditional values. We offer a safe, stimulating, and disciplined learning environment where children are nurtured to become thoughtful, compassionate, and successful individuals.

Looking Ahead

As I look to the future, I remain dedicated to my mission of transforming education in Gombe State and beyond. Through Gombe Elite Schools, I am determined to leave a lasting impact on the lives of young students, empowering them with the tools they need to succeed not only academically but in life.

My journey has been one of constant growth, learning, and reinvention, and I am excited for the new chapters that lie ahead. Education is a powerful force for change, and I am proud to play a role in shaping the future of young minds.
